Refund & Return Policy
Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.
Except where required by applicable law or specifically provided below, all sales are final. Parallel does not accept general returns or provide refunds for buyer’s remorse, changes of mind, scheduling conflicts, or other reasons unrelated to a damaged, defective, incorrectly fulfilled, or undelivered product.
Physical Products
Standard Returns
We do not accept returns of physical products because a customer changed their mind or no longer wants the product.
Please review the product description, compatibility information, quantities, specifications, and items included before purchasing.
Damaged or Defective Products
Please inspect your order when it arrives.
If a physical product arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery at go@buildwithparallel.com.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the problem
- Photos of the product
- Photos of the packaging, when relevant
If we determine that the item arrived damaged or defective, we will, as appropriate, replace the affected item or issue a refund.
This reporting period does not limit any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Incorrect Orders
If you receive an item different from what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery at go@buildwithparallel.com.
Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos where helpful.
We will correct confirmed fulfillment errors at no additional cost to you.
Unauthorized Returns
Please contact us before sending any product back.
Items returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.
If a return is required to resolve a damaged, defective, or incorrectly fulfilled order, we will provide applicable return instructions.
Digital Products
Parallel sells digital products including Digital Plans, courses, digital guides, field manuals, downloadable 3D Print Files, educational materials, and other electronically delivered resources.
Because digital products may be delivered, accessed, viewed, or downloaded immediately, digital-product purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been provided, except where required by applicable law.
Digital Access Problems
If you are unable to access a digital product you purchased, contact us within 7 days of purchase at:
We will work with you to restore or provide access to the product you purchased.
If we are unable to provide the purchased digital product, we may issue a refund as appropriate.
A technical access problem does not include dissatisfaction with the content after access has successfully been provided.
Free Digital Products
Products offered for $0.00 do not have a purchase price to refund.
If you experience difficulty accessing a free digital product, you may contact us at go@buildwithparallel.com for assistance.
Exchanges
We do not offer general exchanges.
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrectly fulfilled physical product, contact us as described above and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at go@buildwithparallel.com.
We cannot guarantee cancellation after:
- a physical order has entered fulfillment or has shipped; or
- a digital product has been delivered, accessed, or made available.
If we are able to cancel an order before fulfillment or digital delivery, we may issue a refund to the original payment method.
Refund Processing
When a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method.
We will generally initiate an approved refund within 10 business days after approval and, where applicable, after a required returned product has been received and inspected.
After we issue the refund, your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to post the funds to your account.
Parallel does not control payment-provider processing times.
Shipping Charges
If an order is refunded because we shipped an incorrect product or because a product arrived damaged or defective, any applicable original shipping charges associated with the affected item may also be refunded where appropriate.
Shipping charges are otherwise non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
International and Statutory Consumer Rights
Customers in some jurisdictions may have statutory cancellation, return, refund, warranty, or other consumer rights that cannot be waived by this policy.
For digital content, applicable law may provide specific requirements concerning consent to immediate digital delivery and the loss or expiration of cancellation rights once delivery begins.
Nothing in this Refund & Return Policy is intended to limit or exclude any right that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
