Welcome to Parallel. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Parallel, a trade name operated by Salient Ventures, LLC.
Parallel operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, digital products, and services in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”). Parallel is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced herein (collectively, the “Terms”), describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

Digital Products
Parallel sells digital products including guides, plans, field manuals, educational materials, downloadable files, and other electronically delivered resources.
Digital product pages will identify when a purchase does not include physical hardware or other physical goods.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the purchase of a digital product is a purchase of Parallel’s independently created content, documentation, organization, research, testing, instructions, diagrams, configurations, workflows, or other original materials.
Some Parallel products may reference, integrate with, or teach the use of third-party software, open-source software, hardware, standards, protocols, projects, or publicly available resources. Those underlying third-party or open-source resources may be available separately and, in some cases, free of charge.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Parallel does not sell ownership of or access to third-party or open-source software merely by selling a guide that references it.
The value of a Parallel digital product lies in the original organization, testing, documentation, implementation guidance, diagrams, workflows, configuration guidance, troubleshooting information, and other materials created or compiled by Parallel.
Third-party trademarks, project names, software names, and manufacturer names belong to their respective owners. Unless expressly stated, Parallel is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with those third parties.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase.
Parallel reserves the right to accept, reject, cancel, or limit an order for legitimate business reasons, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, inventory errors, payment issues, geographic restrictions, or violations of these Terms.
An order is not considered accepted until payment has been successfully processed and the order has been confirmed.
Please review your order carefully before submitting it. Depending on the type of product and fulfillment status, we may be unable to accommodate cancellation requests after an order has been accepted or a digital product has been delivered.
If we reject, modify, or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the email address, billing address, shipping address, or phone number provided at checkout.
Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.

Digital products that do not require physical shipment are not subject to physical shipping charges unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Physical Products
Physical products are shipped in accordance with our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Shipping and delivery times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, severe weather, supply chain interruptions, incorrect shipping information provided by the customer, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Tracking information may be provided when available.
Risk of loss and transfer of title are governed by applicable law and the terms of the carrier and transaction.
Digital Products
Digital products are delivered electronically and do not require physical shipping.
Depending on the product, digital delivery may occur through a download page, customer account, email, third-party digital delivery service, or another method described on the applicable product page.
Digital products may be made available immediately after successful payment or within the timeframe stated on the product page.
Customers are responsible for providing a valid email address and maintaining access to the email account used to make the purchase.

Unless otherwise stated in the applicable product license or product description, purchasing a digital product grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that product for your own lawful purposes.
Purchase of a digital product does not transfer ownership of the underlying copyright or other intellectual property rights.
Unless expressly authorized by us, you may not:
- reproduce or redistribute paid digital products;
- resell digital files;
- upload paid content to public repositories or file-sharing services;
- publish substantial portions of paid guides;
- remove proprietary notices;
- represent our original content as your own; or
- commercially distribute our copyrighted materials.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to claim ownership of third-party open-source software, third-party hardware designs, public standards, or intellectual property owned by others.
Open-source software and third-party materials referenced by Parallel remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.
Parallel’s names, logos, product names, designs, and slogans are trademarks or trade dress of Parallel or its affiliates where applicable.
Shopify’s names, logos, product names, designs, and slogans belong to Shopify.
All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
SECTION 7 - OPTIONAL TOOLS
We may provide access to tools, software, services, integrations, or resources offered by third parties.
We do not necessarily monitor or control these third-party tools.
Unless otherwise expressly stated, access to third-party tools is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties, representations, or endorsements by Parallel.
Your use of third-party tools is at your own risk and discretion.

However, sales and purchases made through our store are transactions directly between you and Parallel.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that Shopify is not responsible for the products or services sold by Parallel, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from products or services purchased from Parallel.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you release Shopify and its affiliates from claims arising solely from transactions between you and Parallel.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

- your infringement of a third party’s rights; or

We will provide reasonable notice of an indemnifiable claim where practicable.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the unenforceable portion will be severed.
The remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, change in control, or other lawful business transaction.

These Terms and any separate agreements through which we provide Services will be governed by the laws applicable in the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where consumer protection laws require otherwise.
Subject to applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts having jurisdiction over Salient Ventures, LLC in Florida.
